Privacy, plainly.

Your photos are yours. Here's exactly what we keep.

What we store

Your email, the photos you take, what our AI read from them, and anything you type: spaces, notes, tags, amounts, drawings on your photos, before/after pairs and reminder dates. We also keep simple usage events (like “opened the app” or “saved an item”) and any feedback you send, so we can improve the app during this test.

Location (optional)

If you allow it, we save where each photo was taken: the coordinates and a city name. It's off unless you say yes, and photos save fine without it. Turn it off anytime in Me → “Add location to photos.” To remove location already saved, delete those items, or delete your account and everything goes with it. To look up the city name, the coordinates are sent to OpenStreetMap's free lookup service.

Who can see it

Only you. Every space, item, photo and reminder is locked to your account. Photos live in private storage and are shown through short-lived links that expire within an hour.

How the AI works

When you save a photo, it's sent to our AI provider to be read, and the result is saved to your account. The photo isn't used to train models and isn't kept by the provider after reading.

Asking questions

When you use Ask, your question and the text of records you can see (titles, notes, tags, amounts, dates and text read from photos) are sent to our AI provider to write the answer. Photos themselves aren't sent. Your records aren't used to train models. Recent questions are saved to your account so you can see them again; clear them anytime in Me → “Clear question history,” and they're deleted with your account.

During the test

The Withapic team can see anonymous-style totals (how many items, which categories, which days people came back) and the feedback you send, tied to your email so we can follow up.

Deleting your data

Go to Me → “Delete my account and data.” Everything — account, photos, items, reminders, events and feedback — is removed right away.
